Job Description

No previous Full Motion Video (FMV) experience required.

If you have an intelligence background and are interested in developing specialized Full Motion Video (FMV) and GEOINT expertise, BAE Systems provides the training to get you there.

Our FMV Analysts support a critical global counterterrorism mission by analyzing real-time intelligence collected from airborne ISR platforms. New analysts begin with a unique three-week formal FMV training course followed by a robust on-the-job training program designed to build proficiency in FMV tradecraft, exploitation tools, and mission-specific cultural familiarization.

This opportunity is well suited for intelligence professionals from a variety of disciplines—including All-Source, SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, and other intelligence backgrounds—who want to expand their tradecraft and build a long-term career in FMV.

As a member of the BAE Systems Intelligence team, you will:

  • Complete formal FMV training and structured on-the-job training.
  • Exploit Full Motion Video collected by sensors aboard ISR platforms and integrate all-source intelligence to support real-time analysis.
  • Produce imagery-derived graphics, intelligence products, and reports for dissemination.
  • Compile intelligence materials and contribute to briefings for senior government personnel.
  • Maintain situational awareness during high-tempo operations and communicate intelligence in real time.
  • Develop proficiency with FMV exploitation tools and National Technical Means (NTM) imagery.
  • Gain access to career development and cross-training opportunities, including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI), and advanced research positions.
  • Build toward advancement opportunities as an instructor, subject matter expert, or leader within the BAE Systems Intelligence Program

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

You do not need previous FMV experience to qualify.

Candidates must have

  • Three years of intelligence analysis experience OR a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Completion of a formal intelligence school course, typically two or more months of full-time instruction resulting in an intelligence MOS or equivalent intelligence qualification (e.g., All-Source, SIGINT, HUMINT, etc.).
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to maintain situational awareness and communicate intelligence effectively during high-tempo operations.
  • Strong analytical, writing, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of the intelligence cycle/process.
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute at 90% accuracy without looking at the keyboard.
  • Ability to accurately distinguish red, green, blue, and yellow on a video screen.
  • Ability to successfully complete the customer FMV training course, unless successfully completed within the previous year.
