We are currently looking for enthusiastic school bus drivers to join our team at our Elk River, Big Lake, and St. Michael locations!
No experience necessary! We offer paid training at $23 an hour and support you through the entire process to get your class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements. Once you are fully licensed the hourly rate starts at $29 an hour for school bus drivers.
Already licensed school bus drivers get a hiring bonus of $1,500.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- A valid MN driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug test, physical and background screening
- Professional level English fluency
Responsibilities and Duties
- 1) Drive a regular route Monday through Friday
- 2) Read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps
- 3) Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including child checks
- 4) Assist students in the loading and unloading process; maintain awareness of traffic to help direct students in safely crossing roads
- 5) Communicate and work effectively with department staff, school personnel, students, parents, and the public
- 6) Attend all safety and training meetings
- 7) Conduct emergency evacuations
- 8) Open and close service doors and move up and down steps multiple times daily
- 9) Maintain a clean bus including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning interior/exterior windows
- 10) Proper use of radio dispatch equipment
- 11) Perform all other duties as assigned
