Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiography Technologist)

Ohana Imaging Solutions Inc. is an independent outpatient cardiovascular ultrasound facility in downtown Honolulu. We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Cardiac Sonographer to join our growing team.
Our practice emphasizes high-quality diagnostic imaging, collaboration with interpreting cardiologists, timely patient access, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE).
- Obtain high-quality 2D, M-mode, spectral Doppler, and color Doppler imaging.
- Perform cardiac measurements and advanced imaging, including myocardial strain when indicated and within training.
- Recognize abnormal cardiac findings and follow established escalation protocols.
- Maintain complete and accurate examination documentation.
- Collaborate with interpreting physicians and clinical staff.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and protocol development.
Qualifications
- RDCS (AE) or RCS credential preferred.
- Strong knowledge of adult cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Experience performing independent adult echocardiography examinations.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a smaller outpatient practice.
- Commitment to high-quality imaging and continuous professional development.
Position Details
Location: Honolulu, Hawaiʻi
Schedule: Flexible, based on operational needs and availability.
