This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with deep healthcare informatics expertise, strong database fluency, and the ability to translate complex pharmacy workflows into scalable analytics requirements, audit logic, and entity-resolution models.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed functional use-case specifications that connect clinical intent, operational performance, and financial realization.

Differentiate standard business intelligence requirements from predictive AI and advanced modeling needs.

Apply prioritization scoring criteria to evaluate use cases based on financial ROI, clinical safety impact, regulatory compliance weight, and technical data feasibility.

Map and trace transactional data lineage across a complex, multi-vendor enterprise ecosystem to support the design of a robust Master Drug Index using NDCs and RxNorm CUIs.

Analyze and document data structures across Epic EHR and scheduling systems, including Willow, Beacon, Cadence, Clarity, Caboodle, and Epic Inpatient MAR.

Reconcile transactional outputs from pharmacy automation and compounding platforms, including DoseEdge IV workflow systems and Omnicell / BD Pyxis Knowledge Portals.

Define data requirements for safety, surveillance, and risk platforms, including ControlCheck, Origami Risk SEMS, and native Epic Willow tools.

Track and audit data structures across retail pharmacy, 340B, cost-accounting, procurement, and supply channels, including EnterpriseRx, Sentry Data Systems, StrataJazz, Civica Dashboards, Cencora ABC Order, Cardinal Health Specialty, QuVa Pharma BrightStream, and OurPharma.

Partner with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to create high-fidelity feature stores for models such as care-setting routing, stockout forecasting, and diversion anomaly detection.

Formulate a standardized data validation framework and automated reconciliation approach to ensure platform metrics align with audited general ledger entries and cash collections.

Support security and governance policies within Databricks Unity Catalog, including row-level facility filters and column-level dynamic masking rules to help protect patient PHI and proprietary vendor discount information.
