Are you an experienced leasing professional who knows the San Diego rental market and thrives in a competitive, sales-driven environment? Ready to bring your expertise to an exciting new luxury apartment community?
AMLI Residential is hiring an experienced Leasing Consultant at AMLI Aero, our brand-new, 442-unit Class A luxury apartment community and our first apartment community in San Diego. As part of our initial leasing team, you'll play a key role in introducing AMLI to the San Diego market, attracting prospective residents, and helping establish AMLI Aero as a premier place to live.
What You'll Do
Your primary focus will be driving leasing activity, building occupancy, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.
- Showcase & Sell: Conduct engaging apartment tours, highlighting our brand-new apartment homes, luxury amenities, and community features.
- Leverage Your Market Knowledge: Use your understanding of San Diego neighborhoods, rental trends, competitors, and pricing to effectively position AMLI Aero.
- Build Relationships: Connect with prospective residents, identify their housing needs, and guide them toward the right apartment home.
- Follow Up & Close: Respond to phone, email, text, and online inquiries, consistently following up to convert leads into signed leases.
- Drive Lease-Up Success: Achieve individual and team leasing goals while helping build occupancy at our new 442-unit community.
- Monitor the Competition: Stay informed about local rental rates, concessions, market conditions, and competing apartment communities.
- Manage the Leasing Process: Prepare lease agreements, process applications, and maintain accurate prospect and resident records.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Coordinate move-ins and create welcoming experiences for our first residents.
- Support Marketing & Outreach: Participate in marketing initiatives, local outreach, resident events, and community engagement activities.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the onsite team to achieve leasing goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience, including apartment leasing responsibilities.
- Experience working at Class A apartment communities with at least 200 units.
- Extensive knowledge of the San Diego area and multifamily rental market, including neighborhoods, competitors, pricing trends, and local market conditions.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Weekend availability.
- Strong leasing, sales, and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve leasing goals.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience preparing lease agreements, processing applications, and maintaining accurate leasing records.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills.
- Professional, energetic, and goal-oriented approach.
