Your seat to fill: Provide expert advice on all aspects of patent law, including German, European, international patents and designs Identify and evaluate inventions in close collaboration with inventors and prepare applications for German and European patents Support in drafting, prosecution, and management of our patent portfolio across multiple jurisdictions Evaluate third-party IP rights to guide freedom-to-operate assessments, clearance strategies, and competitive positioning Provide expert counsel in patentability, validity, and infringement matters Act as internal go-to expert on IP-related risks and opportunities in cross-functional teams (R&D, Product Management, Legal, Procurement, etc.) Communicate with external patent attorneys and lawyers to drive forward patent-related activities Your stroll to CYBEX: Technical studies (Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or comparable) with further education or experience in patents, possibly qualification as a European Patent Attorney Several years of professional experience in patent work, including drafting, prosecution, and FTO High degree of self-motivation, autonomy, and reliability in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment Strong analytical skills and a well-organized work approach to complex matters Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with patent research tools and databases CYBEX operates globally and has employees from copious nations.
