Job Summary
Operations of all machines related to rebar mill manufacturing.
- Job Responsibilities 1 Work closely in the rebar finishing area for smooth and efficient operation . Ensure the functionality of each machine before starting the operation . Performs task assigned by the immediate supervisors.
- Report any machine abnormalities such as sound, current, tension, etc. to his superior or concerned department.
- Perform clearing activities such as, short bar removal, shear cut ends removal and cutting of “flying” rebars.
- Operate rolling mill machines to achieve the required specifications good rebar finished product.
- Adhere to safety regulations for working with heavy machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in safety training sessions, audits, and initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe work environment.
- Report any issues with rolls or roll-related equipment to the production supervisors.
- Assist in scheduling roll changes and maintenance activities to align with production needs.
- Job Responsibilities 2 Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills Familiarity with computer usage for tracking roll usage and maintenance is a plus.
