Job Summary
The Airport OCC and Planning Agent supports the efficient coordination of daily airport and ground handling operations by managing resource and shift planning, monitoring aircraft movement and flight status, and ensuring timely communication across all operational units. The role acts as a central link within the Operations Control Centre (OCC), ensuring that staff, equipment, and facilities are optimally allocated to meet operational and safety requirements while maintaining smooth communication with airlines, ATC, and ground services Job
Responsibilities 1
- 1. Resource Planning Develop and maintain daily and weekly resource plans for staff, vehicles, and equipment in alignment with the flight schedule and operational demands.
- 2. Flight Monitoring & Operational Updates Monitor real-time flight movements, delays, diversions, and disruptions, ensuring updates are accurately communicated to all relevant departments.
- 3. Shift Rostering & Manpower Coverage Prepare and manage shift rosters to ensure adequate manpower coverage across all ground handling functions.
- 4. Operational Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with airlines, ATC, ground handling, and maintenance teams to ensure operational readiness and timely response to schedule changes.
- 5. Aircraft Turnaround Performance Track aircraft turnaround performance and coordinate corrective actions in the event of operational delays.
- 6. OCC Systems & Performance Analysis Utilize OCC systems and dashboards to analyze resource utilization, productivity, and service delivery metrics.
- 7. Incident & Irregularity Reporting Support incident and irregularity reporting, ensuring accurate data logging and follow-up actions.

- 8. Cross-Functional Resource Alignment Maintain continuous communication with ramp, terminal, and cargo teams to ensure resource alignment with flight activity.
- 9. Contingency & Disruption Management Assist in contingency planning and disruption management, including re-rostering and resource redeployment during peak or irregular operations.
- 10. Safety & Quality Compliance Ensure compliance with Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) standards in all operational plans and communications.
- 11. Management Reporting Generate daily operations and resource performance reports for management review.
- 12. Operational Briefings & Continuous Improvement Participate in regular briefings and debriefings to support continuous improvement in OCC coordination and planning.

- 1. Airport Operations & Flight Scheduling Knowledge Knowledge of airport operations, flight schedules, and the operational dependencies that drive resource planning and ground handling coordination.
- 2. OCC Procedures & ATC Coordination Familiarity with OCC procedures, ATC coordination requirements, and aircraft turnaround management.
- 3. Planning, Analysis & Problem Solving Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities to support resource allocation and timely operational decision-making.
- 4. Communication & Situational Awareness Excellent communication and situational awareness skills to maintain accurate, timely coordination across operational teams and external stakeholders.
- 5. ERP & SAP Functional Knowledge ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is required where the role has SAP access and uses the system for operational or administrative activities Job Experience Airport Operations, Resource Planning or OCC Experience Minimum 3-4 years of experience in airport operations, resource planning, or Operations Control Centre functions.
Ground Handling or Flight Operations Systems Exposure Experience with ground handling or flight operations systems is preferred.
