Financial Business Intelligence Analyst Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and business-oriented Financial Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our team. The ideal candidate will combine advanced technical expertise with a strong understanding of financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and enterprise data. The role will transform data from SAP, OneStream, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, and other systems into reliable financial insights, dashboards, semantic models, and actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL and ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Create and manage advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and financial semantic models.
- Analyze actuals, budgets, forecasts, plans, and variances across cost centers, cost elements, profit centers, companies, and business units.
- Reconcile financial data across SAP, OneStream, Snowflake, Power BI, and other enterprise systems.
- Investigate data discrepancies related to mappings, hierarchies, duplicate records, sign conventions, currency conversion, allocations, and reporting periods.
- Define and document financial business rules, data mappings, transformation logic, and reporting definitions
