Job Overview
The HRIS Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of HRIS and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving many straightforward HRIS problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The HRIS Specialist understands critical business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop efficient analytic tools for reporting and comparing data
- Assist with report generation and Data Analysis using Oracle and other HR Systems
- Distribute reports to Management and Business Functions as required
- Work on open tickets to get the solutions promptly; keeping the user updated on the progress
- Interface with functional unit process owners and end users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, recommend solutions
Essential Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in HR Systems, data analytics, and Oracle experience preferred
- Experience in Oracle Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access required
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Strong customer service and creative problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented with strong quantitative skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines as required
