P2P Senior Accountant | MAF Global Solutions | Global Solutions Egypt
ROLE SUMMARY
The P2P Senior Accountant will support the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function across the assigned Business Units by handling complex P2P transactions, performing quality checks, validating invoice and payment information, supporting supplier payment readiness, preparing reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies in line with Majid Al Futtaim policies, internal controls, accounting requirements, and agreed service levels.
ROLE PROFILE
- Manage complex Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transactions across assigned Business Units, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review and validate supplier invoices, purchase orders, supporting documents, and accounting entries.
- Perform quality checks on P2P transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Monitor supplier payment readiness by validating payment information and resolving outstanding issues.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve invoice, payment, and transaction-related queries.
- Ensure accurate financial records, proper documentation, and adherence to agreed service levels and deadlines.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support the implementation of best practices to enhance P2P efficiency and accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in Procure-to-Pay, accounts payable, or general accounting, preferably in a senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, invoice processing, supplier payments, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and discrepancy-resolution skills, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
