Machine Operator @ Aerotek

Job Title: Automation TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to operate and maintain robotic and automated manufacturing equipment used in the production of industrial sealing products. This position will be responsible for machine setup, machine operation, preventative maintenance, quality inspections, and basic troubleshooting of automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor articulated arm and gantry robots for tasks such as welding, assembly, packaging, or material transport.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure optimal robot performance.
• Load and unload materials or components into robotic systems.
• Adjust robot parameters and programming as needed to meet production requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of robot performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment while meeting quality and production standards.
• Experience working with automated machinery, monitoring equipment performance, and making minor operational adjustments.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automated manufacturing systems.
• Experience performing machine setups, changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
