Electromechanical Assembler @ Aerotek

Electromechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionThis role involves reporting to the Production Manager and is responsible for mounting and basic wiring of components with standard layouts and options. The position also requires performing sub-assembly functions and developing enhanced wiring skills under the guidance of a more experienced Electrical Assembler.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto panels, enclosures, and structures by following standard layouts.
• Assemble electrical products with basic/standard options by following customer drawing packages and schematics.
• Assemble electrical products with non-standard options under the guidance of a more experienced Electrical Assembler.
• Perform functionality checks through continuity checks, such as buzzing out.
• Complete required checklists.
• Assemble enclosures and structures where applicable.
• Deliver sub-assemblies to production areas.
• Support inventory maintenance in the sub-assembly area by performing cycle counts and following standard materials procedures.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience with Mechanical/Electrical assembly.
• Basic wiring experience.
• Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.
• Proficiency in wiring, blueprint, schematic interpretation, and power tool usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using strippers and crimpers.
• Basic math skills.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
