Job Title: Entry Level Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Worker prepares products for shipment by carefully wrapping, boxing, crating, and palletizing items while maintaining high quality standards in a clean, organized, and family-oriented manufacturing environment. This role involves using basic hand and power tools, reading production paperwork and diagrams, and performing basic testing of parts and mechanisms to ensure products meet specifications.
Responsibilities
- Select and wrap products in appropriate protective materials to prevent damage during handling and shipment.
- Handle general production and packaging tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with a small team to complete daily packaging assignments and support changing production needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production and shipping operations.
Essential Skills
- Ability to read and follow specifications, production paperwork, and work instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and sit for extended periods during the shift.
- Capability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Openness to working within a small, collaborative team setting.

Work EnvironmentThis is a first-shift role, working Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The facility operates as a custom shop, producing anything from single parts to small batches, so tasks and products frequently change throughout the day. The manufacturing environment is very organized and clean, following 5S and continuous improvement guidelines. The culture is laid-back and family-oriented, with a close-knit team where everyone knows each other, and the Warehouse Worker will work alongside a team of approximately five people.
The physical environment includes exposure to both hot and cold conditions typical of a manufacturing setting. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, provided personal protective equipment, and jeans; t-shirts or sweatshirts are acceptable.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
