Warehouse Associate @ Aerotek

Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionAs a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of duties based on distribution center needs. You will be cross-trained in various departments and may be assigned special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers manually while safely handling merchandise.
• Pick, inspect, and verify products to accurately fulfill customer orders.
• Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Stock and organize inventory to maintain product availability.
• Route completed orders to the appropriate department or shipping area.
• Maintain and update pick locations using warehouse reports and inventory information.
• Sort, process, label, and ticket merchandise for distribution and retail locations.
• Process customer returns and ensure proper handling of returned products.
• Clean, inspect, and repair various reel models, including determining warranty eligibility when applicable.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in loading and unloading, inspecting parts, picking, and packing.
• At least 1 year of experience in general labor, warehouse operations, or material handling.
• Proficiency in using an RF scanner.
• Experience in warehouse packing and forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work on the 1st shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 6 am to 4:30 pm (10 hours).
• Overtime pay for hours worked over 40.

Work EnvironmentWork in a large distribution center environment. The standard attire is casual and safety gear is provided as necessary.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, WI.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
