  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Comfort working around equipment that may be dirty or have residual odors from refuse collection.

Why Work Here? You will join a well-organized maintenance operation that values safety, cleanliness, and structured processes. The shop follows 5S principles, giving you a clean, efficient, and professional environment in which to develop and apply your technical skills. You will work with a supportive team that encourages learning and growth, particularly in diesel, hydraulic, and heavy equipment systems. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term expertise in fleet maintenance while contributing to an essential service that keeps the community running smoothly.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a maintenance shop environment at the Lexington location, working primarily in service bays dedicated to garbage truck maintenance. The shop operates under strong 5S principles, so bays are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained.
