Production Lead - Blast, Paint & Hydro Group

What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations within the Blast, Paint, and Hydro departments
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and assign work priorities
• Train, mentor, and develop employees to maximize team performance
• Ensure work orders are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
• Support production goals related to safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery
• Troubleshoot production challenges and resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Coordinate manpower and scheduling to meet customer demand
• Complete production reports, attendance records, payroll documentation, and training records
• Assist with safety initiatives, incident investigations, and continuous improvement efforts
• Act as a plant First Responder when needed
• Work alongside your team performing:
• Industrial Painting
• Sandblasting
• Paint Preparation
• Hydrostatic Testing
• Sanding and Surface Preparation
• General Production Activities

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Blast, Paint, Hydro Testing, or similar industrial environments Previous leadership, supervisory, or production management experience Hands-on industrial painting and sandblasting experience Experience training and developing manufacturing employees Strong understanding of production, quality, and safety standards Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Schedule

Monday - Friday

• 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Overtime Available

• Frequent extended shifts until approximately 5:30 PM
• Occasional Saturdays: 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Industrial manufacturing facility with Blast, Paint, and Hydro Testing operations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Catoosa, OK.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
