Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material HandlerJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team where you will actively support stockroom functions and manage material-related tasks. Work from Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. You will perform warehouse activities that involve the safe and accurate movement of materials and corresponding system transactions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of materials to manufacturing areas to support production schedules.
- Execute necessary material movements both physically and systematically to ensure manufacturing areas are replenished.
- Facilitate material movements to areas outside of manufacturing, such as shipping and office personnel.
- Utilize RF scanners for performing ERP transactions.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain organization with Bin Management and First In First Out maintenance.
- Return unused materials to the stockroom using RF technology.
- Properly dispose of scrap components.
- Pull materials for purges from stock as necessary.
- Perform warehouse cycle-counts where appropriate.
- Verify material movements and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in operating a personal computer with a Windows-based operating system.
- Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with related software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
- Competence in applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
- Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret graphs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a detail-oriented position is a must.
- Capability to follow directions accurately.
- Candidates with stable work history are preferred.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.20 - $21.20/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
