Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob DescriptionAn experienced professional is needed to take charge of repair and maintenance of all plant equipment. The role involves following established methods and procedures, as well as establishing new standards of work performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain plant equipment in operational condition and perform assigned tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and sanitation departments to meet operational needs.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs of the area, shutting down lines as necessary to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist others in solving mechanical issues.
- Coordinate scheduling with personnel to ensure equipment functionality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in maintenance technician tasks
- Expertise in repair and preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of mechanical and refrigeration systems
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift a maximum of 100 pounds, frequently lifting or carrying objects up to 75 pounds
- Capability to stand and walk for up to 3 hours before each break
- Skill in climbing and balancing on ladders, stairs, and scaffolding
- Proficiency in reaching, handling, and working with hands
- Strong visual acuity to perceive shapes, sizes, distances, and colors
- Ability to twist and turn the body from side to side
- Flexibility to stoop, kneel, and bend the body at the waist

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moses Lake, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
