Job Title: Punch Press OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to work with an older Trumpf punch press machine. This position involves assembling and changing out punch tools as needed, ensuring the program is correct, and that the machine is accurately punching out shapes in sheet metal.
Responsibilities
- Operate an older Trumpf punch press machine.
- Assemble and change out punch tools as needed, sometimes multiple times in a shift.
- Verify that the computer program is correct and the machine operates accurately.
- Perform First Part Inspection for all new product changeovers.
Essential Skills
- Experience with punch press operation.
- Knowledge of CNC, shop math, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with fabricating, laser, and welding processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with deburring.

Work EnvironmentWork in a shop environment that is very loud and filled with machinery and welding activities. The shift is Monday through Thursday, 2:45pm to 1:15am. Initial training will be conducted with the engineer on the first shift.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
