Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionThis role focuses on safe and efficient forklift operation, box truck driving, and warehouse support within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment. You will handle inventory movement and storage, support production and distribution processes, use RF scanning and computer systems, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, store, and retrieve inventory.
- Drive a box truck as needed and maintain the ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility and adhere to GMP standards.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Fisher Clinical Service processes and distribution protocols.
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision and support departmental goals through a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Assist team members in fulfilling internal requests and collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Ensure inventory is stored properly and safely, maintaining the warehouse for safety, neatness, and organization.
- Stock warehouse areas with required materials for on-time job completion in production rooms, using a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing environment with some clean rooms and involves supporting warehouse, production, and distribution operations.
Multiple shifts are available, including 1st shift (6:00 AM 2:30 PM, MondayFriday), 2nd shift (11:00 AM 7:00 PM, MondayFriday), and 3rd shift (11:00 PM 7:00 AM, SundayThursday). You will work in areas that experience temperature extremes between -30°C and 25°C for up to 30 minutes at a time and may be exposed to atmospheric conditions that require the use of a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR). The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to GMP and SOP standards, with appropriate work attire to support a manufacturing and clean room setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.28/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
