Job Title: Warehouse Inventory and Shipping AssociateJob DescriptionThis role is responsible for maintaining organized warehouse aisles and stockrooms, processing and reconciling inventory, and supporting the full freight and shipping process. You will handle incoming and outgoing merchandise, operate material-handling equipment, and use computer and ERP systems to ensure accurate data entry and timely order fulfillment while following established safety and stocking guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse aisles and stockroom areas by following established sorting, stocking, and organizational guidelines.
• Process inventory accurately, including receiving, counting, and recording materials in the appropriate systems.
• Proactively investigate and correct inventory discrepancies through cycle counts and follow-up checks.
• Open, unpack, and stack cases and merchandise in designated locations to support efficient material flow.
• Complete the freight process, including unloading truck trailers and loading merchandise onto carts or pallets.
• Distribute inventory to correct locations within the warehouse and stockroom within designated timeframes.
• Pull, stock, and replenish merchandise as needed to meet operational and shipping requirements.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move large amounts of materials safely across the building.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks using ERP systems and carrier platforms such as UPS WorldShip and FedEx.
• Ensure the sorting area, warehouse floor, and stockroom remain clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Use a computer to perform data entry, inventory updates, and shipping documentation in ERP systems.
• Read and write in English and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Support material handling, packaging, and packing activities to prepare orders for shipment.
• Perform additional duties and assist in other areas of the warehouse or facility as required by business needs.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on stockroom or warehouse experience handling inventory and materials.
• Ability to move and handle large amounts of materials across the building using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Proficiency in inventory management activities, including receiving, loading, and cycle counts.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse environment.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting and material handling safely and consistently.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry and inventory processing.
• Experience working with ERP systems for inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including packaging and documentation.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate clearly with others on the team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and shipping information.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using UPS WorldShip for shipping and label creation.
• Experience working with UPS and FedEx carrier platforms for outbound shipments.
• Background in data entry related to inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions.
• Material handling experience in a machine shop or large warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated ability to keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in counts, records, and documentation.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
