Machine Operator @ Aerotek

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour (based on experience)Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMPosition Overview

We are seeking a Machine Operator to support our in-house print production operation within a fast-paced fulfillment environment. In this role, you'll operate digital printing and finishing equipment to produce custom box sleeves, branded inserts, personalized note cards, and other printed materials while ensuring exceptional quality, accuracy, and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot high-volume digital printing equipment.
• Run digital production presses to produce custom printed materials, including box sleeves, branded inserts, marketing materials, and personalized note cards.
• Operate finishing equipment such as paper cutters, creasers, gluing machines, and related production machinery.
• Manage automated packaging, sorting, sealing, and fulfillment equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment adjustments to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify print accuracy, color consistency, alignment, and overall product quality.
• Review work orders and ensure printed materials meet customer specifications and expectations.
• Handle frequent job changeovers and short production runs while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Utilize computer systems and production software to manage print jobs, monitor workflows, and document production activities.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
• Assist with additional production equipment, including embroidery, laser engraving, and logo-printing machines as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support overtime and weekend production schedules during peak business periods.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience operating production, manufacturing, industrial, or packaging equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with high-speed machinery in a production environment.
• Quality control and inspection experience.
• Comfortable using computers for job tracking, data entry, and production documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Reliable work ethic and excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts when needed.
• Overtime: Candidates must be available to work extended hours up to 6:00 PM and occasional weekend shifts from 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating digital presses, including Xerox Versant or similar systems.
• Background in print production, fulfillment, packaging, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with finishing equipment such as cutters, creasers, laminators, or gluing machines.
• Familiarity with embroidery, laser engraving, or logo-printing equipment.
• Ability to quickly learn new machinery, processes, and production technologies.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Fast-paced print production and fulfillment environment.
• Regular interaction with digital presses, finishing equipment, and automated production machinery.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Englewood, CO.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
