As a Databricks AI Manager you will lead data engineering work that turns raw information into usable data products and analytics capabilities for clients, with a focus on data pipelines, integration, transformation, and AI-enabled solutions within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As a Manager you will coach teams, guide day-to-day delivery across multiple workstreams, and use sound judgment to solve complex issues while driving consistent timelines, quality, and client service. In this role at PwC, you will bring structure to Databricks-enabled delivery, support stakeholder conversations, mentor junior team members, and contribute to work that helps clients use data to make informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Leading data engineering workstreams that design and build Databricks and AI-enabled solutions for client initiatives
- Managing project planning, budgeting, timelines, and delivery across data infrastructure, integration, and transformation efforts
- Guiding teams in developing data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses that support scalable analytics use cases
- Reviewing architecture, data modeling, and transformation approaches to validate alignment with client requirements and technical objectives
- Applying AI fluency and data engineering skills to shape automation, workflow orchestration, and advanced analytics delivery
- Coaching team members, leveraging individual strengths, and promoting skill growth through feedback and review of work
- Identifying data quality, performance tuning, and database optimization opportunities across cloud-based environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure
- Addressing delivery issues, technical risks, and stakeholder concerns while maintaining clear communication across client engagements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
