Project Manager

Commercial Interiors | Renovations | National Clients

We're partnering with a growing commercial construction firm that specializes in interior renovations, tenant improvements, facility upgrades, and high-volume rollout projects for nationally recognized clients across the retail, restaurant, corporate, and commercial sectors. This is an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven organization where you'll have direct access to leadership, real influence on project success, and a clear path for long-term growth. We're seeking an experienced Project Manager, but we're also open to high-performing Assistant Project Managers who are ready to step into a Project Manager role and take ownership of their own projects.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple commercial interior renovation and fit-out projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead project schedules, budgets, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall project execution.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, superintendents, and internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents to support project execution.
  • Monitor project financials, forecasting, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct project meetings and proactively identify solutions to scheduling, field, and operational challenges.
  • Partner closely with field teams to ensure safe, high-quality project delivery.
  • Support estimating, budgeting, and value engineering efforts as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting through project management software platforms.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, or strong Assistant Project Managers ready to take the next step into a PM role.
  • Experience with commercial interiors, tenant improvements, renovations, refreshes, remodels, or fit-out projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, RFIs, submittals, and change order management.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and contract documents.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience supporting retail, restaurant, corporate, facilities, or commercial interior construction projects.

Why Join?

  • Opportunity to manage diverse projects for well-known national clients.
  • Strong visibility to executive leadership and decision-makers.
  • Clear career advancement opportunities in a growing organization.
  • Autonomy, ownership, and the ability to make a direct impact.
  • Mix of office and field exposure, with regional project involvement.

Ideal for a seasoned Project Manager seeking greater ownership or an ambitious Assistant Project Manager ready to step into a lead role.
