The Role
As a Transport Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the transport function, ensuring vehicles, drivers, and deliveries are effectively managed and scheduled. You'll work closely with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transport schedules and route planning.
- Monitor vehicle movements and delivery performance.
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams regarding transport requirements.
- Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
- Resolve delivery issues and respond promptly to transport-related queries.
- Update transport management systems with accurate information.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and transport regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the wider transport team.
About You
To be successful in this position, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet coordination, or administrative roles.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
