Purpose of the Role Multi-Skill Plumber
To carry out plumbing and associated multi-trade repairs, maintenance, renewals and installations across Camden’s housing stock and other Council properties, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, in line with current regulations and delivered Right First Time.
Key Responsibilities Multi-Skill Plumber
- Carry out plumbing repairs including pipework, drainage and sanitary installations.
- Undertake multi-trade tasks such as carpentry, tiling and making good works.
- Deliver reactive, planned and void repairs.
- Diagnose faults and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Provide high standards of customer service in residents’ homes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Complete job records and manage materials using mobile systems.
Person Specification Multi-Skill Plumber
- Qualified plumber (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Experience in housing repairs or maintenance.
- Multi-trade capability.
- Strong fault-finding ability.
- Good customer communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
