Electrical Supervisor Prison Project - London Competitive Day Rate Long-Term Temporary Contract
A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of a major fire safety upgrade programme within a secure prison environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project focused on the installation and upgrade of critical fire detection, alarm and life safety systems across operational prison facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation teams delivering fire safety system upgrades.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
- Monitor quality, progress and compliance with health & safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections and permit reviews.
- Liaise with project management and prison stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Essential Requirements
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Proven experience supervising electrical works on construction or refurbishment projects.
- Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance procedures.
- Experience working within live or highly regulated environments is advantageous.
Security ClearanceDue to the nature of the project, all successful applicants will be required to:
- Pass BPSS Clearance
- Successfully complete Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Vetting
- Be eligible to work within a secure custodial environment
