Picker / Packer - Full time Temporary up to 6 weeks
- Job Type: Full-time 5 Days per week - one day to be worked at weekend
- Location: Basildon - SS14
- £12.71 per hour
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our small warehouse team as Picker / Packers. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, packing products to a high standard, and ensuring dispatch deadlines are met.
Day-to-day of the role
- Picking stock accurately from warehouse locations using picking lists.
- Packing products securely and efficiently for dispatch.
- Labelling parcels and preparing orders for shipment.
- Conducting quality checks on products before packing.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Stock replenishment and inventory checks.
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Comfortable with manual handling duties.
- Ability to lift and move products within health and safety guidelines.
