SME e-Trading & Algorithmic Trading

£750 per day (via Umbrella)
cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking someone to work in SME e-Trading & Algorithmic Trading on a 6-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead e-Trading and Algorithmic Trading governance across Sales & Trading (S&T).
- Review and improve algorithmic trading and trading venue policies.
- Maintain algorithm inventories, control frameworks and compliance evidence.
- Draft e-Trading and Remote Booking Standards, including cross-border trading controls.
- Review product classifications and manage remediation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Improve product approval processes, trader mandates and trading venue governance.
- Develop management information (MI), dashboards and reporting controls.
- Map product data across systems and improve product taxonomy.
- Support internal audits, regulatory reporting and operational risk initiatives.
- Work with Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Operational Risk and Data teams.
The candidate
- Strong experience in electronic trading and algorithmic trading.
- Good understanding of Sales & Trading products and the full trade lifecycle.
- Experience in regulatory change, control frameworks and capital markets.
- Knowledge of product governance, booking models and trading venue controls.
- Experience with policy writing, process mapping and control documentation.
- Understanding of RCSA, control testing and audit remediation.
- Experience with data, MI reporting and governance inventories.
- Strong stakeholder management across Front Office and control functions.
