We are currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Sprayers to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing operation based in Barton-under-Needwood. Both contract and permanent opportunities are available for suitable candidates.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with vehicle spraying experience, particularly those with a background in the rail industry.
The Role
As a Vehicle Sprayer, your duties will include:
- Preparing vehicles and components for spraying, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation.
- Applying paint and coatings to a high standard using professional spraying equipment.
- Ensuring all work meets required quality and finish standards.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Working to production schedules and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
Training
Successful candidates will complete an initial four-week training period in Doncaster.
- A mileage allowance will be provided to help cover travel costs.
- A four-day working week will apply during the training period.
Pay Rates
Day Shift
- PAYE: £18.79 per hour
- Umbrella: £24.47 per hour
Afternoon Shift
- PAYE: £22.55 per hour
- Umbrella: £29.44 per hour
Night shifts: Potentially available, with rates to be confirmed.
Overtime available
Requirements
- Previous vehicle spraying experience is essential.
- Experience in rail, rolling stock or railway vehicle spraying would be advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work safely and follow technical instructions.
