About the Role
- Provide tailored one-to-one support to help the pupil engage with learning and develop confidence.
- Support communication using approaches such as BSL, Makaton, or Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), where appropriate. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Follow individual learning strategies and support the pupil in line with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to adapt learning activities to meet the pupil's needs.
- Promote independence, encourage positive behaviour, and provide reassurance and guidance when needed.
- Monitor the pupil's progress and communicate observations with the wider school team and parents, as appropriate.
- Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment while adhering to safeguarding procedures and school policies.

- Pay: £90-£105 per day, depending on experience
