We are seeking an experienced Geography Teacher for a long-term placement in Liverpool. This role is ideal for a Geography Teacher who is passionate about imparting knowledge and fostering a love for the subject among students. As a Geography Teacher in this role, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, with a key focus on marking and assessing student work to ensure high academic standards.
Day-to-day of the role
- Deliver engaging and informative geography lessons using pre-planned materials.
- Mark and provide constructive feedback on student assignments and assessments.
- Monitor and record student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share best teaching practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Geography.
- Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the geography curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject matter.
