Step into a role where you can build your payroll skills in a supportive, friendly team of four. You'll help deliver accurate and timely payroll services across a variety of clients and industries, gaining hands-on experience and growing your confidence.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
- Preparing payroll data including time sheets, starters/leavers, and basic adjustments
- Responding to payee queries and providing friendly, helpful customer service
- Assisting with statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and holiday pay
- Learning payroll systems - full training provided on in-house software
- Supporting compliance tasks including RTI submissions and basic HMRC liaison under supervision
What you'll bring
- A basic understanding of payroll processes and statutory payments
- Good communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and general admin systems
