Financial Controller - Media Agency
We are recruiting a Financial Controller to join an award-winning Media Agency located in Central London. You’ll be overseeing end-to-end finance operations, management reporting and strategic compliance.
This position provides excellent autonomy and close collaboration with senior leadership.
Financial Controller - Responsibilities
- Producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and cash-flow forecasts.
- Ownership of P&L budgeting, reforecasting, working capital management and monthly/quarterly group reporting.
- Overseeing day-to-day finance operations and managing a transactional finance team, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
- Ensuring full financial compliance; including VAT returns, HMRC regulations and corporation tax coordination.
- Monitoring client profitability, staff efficiency and expenses postings.
- Partner with the Board and senior leadership to deliver strategic updates and ad-hoc financial insights.
Financial Controller - The Person
- Strong background in management accounting
- Ideally prior Media Agency experience
- Proficiency with DDS/MediaOcean accounting system with advanced Excel skills
- Proven track record of managing finance teams and building key relationships
- Ideally available immediately or on short notice
