Working Days: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 7:00am
Shift Length: 8-9 hours per day
Pay Rates
- Basic rate: £13.22 per hour
- Overtime: £17.62 per hour for hours worked over 40 hours
- Saturday rate: £19.83 per hour
- Sunday rate: £26.44 per hour
Job Description
We are recruiting 4 Christmas Tree Delivery Drivers for a busy seasonal operation based in Laleham, TW18.
You will drive a 3.5-tonne manual van, delivering Christmas trees to business premises only. Deliveries will be made to commercial customers, such as shops, offices, hotels and other businesses. There will be no residential deliveries.
The role involves loading and unloading Christmas trees, following allocated delivery routes and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive a 3.5-tonne manual van to deliver Christmas trees to business customers.
- Load and unload trees safely.
- Follow allocated delivery routes and schedules.
- Carry out manual handling as required.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be confident driving a manual van.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit.
- Comfortable with manual handling.
- Previous van delivery experience preferred.
Important Eligibility Criteria
Do not apply if you have any previous drink-driving or drug-driving convictions.
