Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist school in St Albans seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to start immediately after October half-term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident teacher experienced in supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism and ADHD. You will lead a small class, delivering personalised learning in a structured, nurturing environment where every pupil can make progress.
The Role
- Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
- Start date: 2nd November 2026
- Pay: £180-£280 per day, depending on experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Contract: Temporary initially, with potential for a permanent position
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has relevant classroom experience.
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD.
- Can plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and a calm, flexible approach.
- Can work effectively with teaching assistants to support pupil progress.
This role is not suitable for ECTs or candidates without relevant teaching experience.
