Our Client
Mackie Myers is partnering with an established international business looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join its finance team.
The Role
An excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to gain exposure to group reporting, consolidations and statutory accounting within an international, multi-entity environment.
Main Duties
- Support monthly group reporting and consolidations
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with statutory accounts and year-end reporting
- Support external audits and intercompany accounting
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close
- Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting
The Successful Candidate
- Newly qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Experience in practice or industry, ideally within audit or financial reporting
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel and confidence with finance systems
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Group reporting or consolidation experience would be advantageous
