This position also requires a special qualification that has been determined to be essential to perform the duties and will be used as a screen out element. If you do not provide evidence that you possess the following selective factor(s), you will be rated not qualified. Experience serving as the lead technical authority responsible for the architecture, engineering, implementation, or technical governance of enterprise-scale Super Intelligence or Machine Learning solutions within a large, complex organization.

This includes assessing risk and impact, building in human oversight, transparency, and accountability, and applying federal security, privacy, and civil rights requirements (e.g., NIST AI Risk Management Framework, NIST RMF/SP 800-53, FedRAMP, Privacy Act) to SI system design. TQ 2: Evaluating, Prototyping, and Architecting Scalable SI Solutions. Demonstrated hands-on experience evaluating SI and machine learning technologies, building working prototypes against mission problems, and designing secure, scalable enterprise architectures that move proven SI capabilities into production across cloud (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure) and on-premises environments.

Qualifications will be evaluated based on how clearly and concisely you emphasize your level of responsibilities, the scope and complexity of your programs; services managed; program accomplishments; policy initiatives undertaken; level of contacts; the sensitivity and criticality of the issues addressed; and the results of your actions taken. Typically, experience will have been gained at the GS-15 or equivalent in the private sector or non-governmental organizations. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
