Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Do you have 3 years of government contracting experience? Do you have any NAF contracting experience?
Major Duties
- Develops and promulgates local SOP for the contracting and procurement functions. May serve as the contracting officer, soliciting, awarding and administering all NAF contrats
- Performs all aspects of the contracting transaction from initiation to recommendation of award for the procurement of supplies and services.
- Develops contracting strategy, determines completeness of purchase descriptions, researches alternatives available, compiles bidders' lists, issues solicitation documents and performs a detailed analysis of offers and bids. Prepares final contracts.
- Negotiates terms and conditions. Clarifies bids and offers. When necessary initiates termination action. Provides technical guidance and assistance to contracting offices and other concerned with NAF contracting practices and policy
- Performs contract administration. Reviews/reconstructs procurement actions worked by subordinate staff. Coordinates actions with requesting activities.
