Brand & Marketing Specialist (Lisboa, PT) @ EDP Energias de Portugal S.A.

• Join the Marketing team of MAAT and Fundação EDP on a temporary replacement basis (maternity leave), with an expected duration of 8 months, taking on a role with a strong operational and project management component.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end execution of communication materials for exhibition launches and social innovation programmes, as well as brand activation initiatives, from briefing to final delivery, coordinating schedules, approval workflows, internal teams, designers, agencies and suppliers.
• What will you do: Project, Schedule and Approval Management Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including exhibition launches, campaigns and activations, ensuring that deadlines, budgets and objectives are met.
• Build and maintain integrated production schedules, anticipating dependencies, risks and critical points.
• Manage internal approval workflows (curatorial, production, communications and management) and external ones (artists, partners and sponsors), ensuring timely and properly documented validations.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive briefings for designers, agencies and suppliers.
• Exhibition Launch Materials Coordinate the production of promotional materials for each exhibition and social innovation programme.
• Ensure that materials are adapted to different formats, media and channels, in Portuguese and English.
• Liaise with curatorial, production and communications teams to ensure the accuracy of content — texts, credits, images and their respective usage rights.
• Oversee the application and installation of materials at the museum and in external media.
• BTL Campaigns and Brand Activation Plan and execute BTL campaigns: proximity initiatives, distribution partnerships, promotional materials and presence at events and relevant touchpoints.
• Develop and implement brand activations, both inside and outside the museum, that bring MAAT closer to existing and new audiences.
• Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and activations, presenting concrete, feasible proposals aligned with MAAT’s identity.
• Coordinate the logistics and production of activations, from concept to results evaluation.
• Graphic Production and Supplier Management Manage relationships with designers, printers, production companies and other suppliers: requesting and comparing quotes, placing orders and monitoring production.
• Review proofs, final artwork and production quality, ensuring compliance with MAAT’s and Fundação EDP’s graphic standards.
• Monitor each project’s budget, recording costs and variances.
• Keep the archive of materials, final artwork and brand assets organised.
• Prepare project reports (execution, costs and results) and propose process improvements.
• Employment Type: Short term contract (approximately 8-month temporary replacement, until July 2027) Work Site: Lisbon, Portugal What are we looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in operational marketing, communications production, BTL/trade marketing or project management in an agency.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of graphic production processes (formats, media, final artwork, colour proofs).
• Knowledge of and interest in the cultural/arts sector; experience in museums, cultural institutions or lifestyle brands will be valued.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and rigour.
• Aesthetic sensibility, creativity and the ability to propose solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Fluent Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and project management tools.
