Maternity Cover until 31st August 2027
Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6
(£20,975.39- £22,450.61 actual salary per annum)
37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Friday - 8:00am - 3:30pm
(30-minute unpaid break for lunch)
38 weeks of the year - term time plus INSET days

Thames Park Secondary School is seeking a friendly, organised, and dedicated Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff. As a valued member of our administrative team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth school operations while providing excellent customer service.
Thames Park Secondary School is a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the Schools’ Co-operative Society.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Support Manager and will be:
Welcoming visitors and handling telephone enquiriesManaging school communications with parentsAssisting with clerical tasks such as sorting mail and distributing lettersUsing the school management information systems (Bromcom) for administrative supportCommunicating with parents using current systemsProviding general clerical support as requiredThe successful candidate will:
Be passionate, motivated, and have excellent communication skillsBe able to multitask and stay calm under pressure and remain positiveHave GCSE Maths & English - 4-9 or equivalent and strong IT skillsHave excellent written skills with the ability to multi-task In return for your hard work, you will receive:
