Join Wix as a Product Counsel and be part of our Legal team, where you’ll tackle some of the biggest legal challenges of the information age, including navigating the evolving legal landscape around artificial intelligence.
In your day-to-day, you will
- Be part of the product counseling team
- Provide ongoing legal counseling and guidance on a wide range of commercial issues and product teams
- Draft terms of use, contracts, and other legal documents
- Tackle innovative and novel legal issues
- Use innovative AI tools—and sometimes build them yourself—to enhance efficiency
- Apply creative legal solutions to enable product teams to move fast and succeed

- 1-2 years of experience as in-house counsel for internet companies or at a prominent law firm
- Familiarity with compliance aspects, including AI, privacy, and contract law
- Transparent communicator and a team player
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and motivation
- Tech-savvy, organized, and eager to learn new legal aspects
- Experience in building AI automations or tools—an advantage
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations, licensing, and internet law—an advantage
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)

We are Wix's Legal team. We deal with some of the biggest legal challenges of the information age, giving us new insights into legal issues. We're always expecting the unexpected and adding more tools to our legal toolkit so we can handle anything. Wix's innovative services raise challenges when cutting-edge technology faces the law. We have a fun and young start-up vibe, an open-door policy, and use creative and practical approaches to solve interesting and diverse legal challenges daily.
Apart from being hands on and performing legal work, you'll supervise external and internal legal activities, both within Israel and globally. Focusing primarily on Product compliance, you'll work with product teams, handle data privacy matters, draft agreements, and lead negotiations. You'll also provide professional guidance and support to our employees. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in keeping Wix's legal interests secure and promoting our success. A growing part of the role involves advising on the legal and compliance implications of AI-powered features and tools across Wix’s products, and developing guidelines for the responsible and compliant use of AI.
