Job Description
The LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE High School English/LA Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive English program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations. The successful candidate must be or be willing to become certified to teach AP courses.
Qualifications
Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for English, English/language arts, or language arts at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (9-12).
Length of Employment: 2026-27 School Year or Until the Employee Resigns
Responsibilities
The LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE High School English/Language Arts Teacher shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
