Job Requirements
- 1. High school diploma
- 2. Ability to meet physical demands of the position
- 3. Ability to keep assigned buildings clean, safe, functional, and secure in accordance with prescribed codes and established District policies and standards.
- 4. Ability to perform all of the following:
a. regularly requires the ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, high probability of contact with Blood-Borne Pathogens materials in course of daily work b. frequently requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, squat, stoop or kneel, reach above the head and reach forward and bend or twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, such as cleaning supplies, packing and unloading trucks c. occasionally requires the ability to sit; lift and/or move 80 pounds, such as salt and furniture; and push/pull items such as tables, bleachers, scrubbing machines, etc.
d. continuously requires the ability to use hand strength to grasp tools and climb onto ladders
Job Responsibilities
- 1. Set-up multi-purpose room for lunch.
- 2. Clean restrooms, refill paper towels and soap dispensers.
- 3. Dust as needed - plants in lobby, offices, etc.
- 4. Supervise, wash tables, sweep, wet mop and remove trash from lunch in the multi-purpose room and kitchen.
- 5. Secure clean up supplies – mop, bucket, broom, etc.
- 6. Vacuum and clean staff lounges
- 7. Wash windows as needed
- 8. Clean lobby entrance windows, vacuum and wet mop
- 9. Note and report needed maintenance
- 10. Order and stock custodial supplies
- 11. Assist with supervision if needed throughout the day
- 12. Executes all duties and procedures within health and safety standards as per OSHA and/or MIOSHA
- 13. Other duties as assigned
