Advance plastering Limited at Clooninann, Swinford, Co. Mayo is looking for 2 welder. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the job and a drive to learn and grow within the field.
Job responsibilities
- Carry out welding and structural repairs on metal parts and structures.
- Join, cut, and shape metal parts using high-heat equipment while following precise design specifications.
- Responsibilities include reading blueprints, calibrating welding machines, preparing metal surfaces, performing welds in various positions (e.g., flat, vertical, overhead), and inspecting final products for structural defects and quality control.
- Inspect welds and joints to ensure structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and workplace procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the technical team in line with agreed schedules.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ welding experience is required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
