Aureol Global Connections is hiring for Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanics on behalf of Drilltech Drilling and Blasting Limited trading as Drilltech Limited, Ballinagoul, Kilmallock, Co Limerick, V35 DA09.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy commercial vehicles, with a good understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and operational. Duties include fault finding, repairing mechanical and electrical defects, replacing components, completing inspections, responding to breakdowns, and maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.
The role involves the ability to work independently, diagnose issues efficiently and minimise vehicle downtime. Applicants should be comfortable working in demanding environments, have good English communication skills, and be committed to maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and vehicle reliability.
This is a full-time role of 39 hours per week with an annual salary range of €36,605-€40,000.
