Job Description
Elite Modular Homes Limited is seeking a Carpenter to join our team, working on residential and/or commercial construction projects. The role involves carrying out a wide range of carpentry tasks, from reading technical drawings to the installation and maintenance of wooden structures and fittings.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements; Select, measure, cut, shape, drill, and assemble timber structures and fittings in accordance with plans using hand and power tools; Install and fix wooden components such as doors, skirting boards, counters, partitions, decking, frames, shop fronts, furniture, and wooden templates; Check accuracy and alignment of work using squares, rules, spirit levels, and other measuring tools; Carry out maintenance and minor repairs on wooden structures and fittings as required; Work as part of a team while adhering to site safety protocols.
Job Requirements
2 years’ hands-on carpentry experience; There are no formal academic entry requirements; Ability to follow technical instructions and collaborate effectively with others; Basic understanding of site safety regulations and PPE usage; Physically fit with manual skills suitable for construction tasks.
