About this role
Job Purpose Service and repair of garden machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of, servicing and customer support for robotic mowers;
- Servicing and repairs of all types of domestic garden machinery (lawnmowers, chainsaws, hedgecutters, brushcutters, etc.) and all power sources (battery, two stroke, petrol and diesel).
- Assembly, PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) and servicing of professional groundscare machinery (i.e. diesel ride on mowers & compact tractors).
Qualifications Required
- A relevant level 6 or equivalent technical qualification (e.g. small engine mechanics, auto mechanics, diesel mechanics, mechatronics, agricultural mechanisation, etc.)
- Minimum 2. years experience with small petrol engine powered machinery
- Fluent English
- Driving license Personal Characteristics Sought
- Positive team member
- Able to engage constructively with customers
- Able to work quickly when required, multitask and handle changing priorities
- Flexibility to be available for overtime in season, attend training (on occasion in the UK), etc.
Dimensions Job location : Carrigrohane Road Reports To : Garden Machinery Service Administrator Job Structure : Full time & permanent Schedule : Mon. – Fri. 8:00 – 17:30 (39 hr.s) + Sat. morning by request (overtime) Remn. : Basic €37,000 p.a. (i.e. any overtime and commission/bonus additional) Overtime : Paid at time and a half Pension : Attractive group scheme
