About this role
- This shift is 40 hours - Monday - Thursday- 2p-10p ; Sunday 3p - 11pm $21.00-$22.57
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience assisting persons with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and/or Autism
- Ability to support people with Autism and people who may display challenging behaviors
- SCIP Certified preferred
- Successfully complete the medication administration (AMAP) course and annual recertification
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to learn how to document services electronically
- Valid Driver's License required
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide ongoing oversight to people living in the residence
- Implement Person Centered Residential Habilitation Plans
- Provide training and support for each person in accordance with the individual personalized program plan
- Have scheduling flexibility; may be required to work beyond the normal shift
- Drive agency vans and demonstrate safe driving practices
